Assembly Technician I

Assembly — 1135 W Dennis Ave, Olathe KS 66061

← All Open Positions

As an Assembly Technician, you'll build electronic and mechanical products using documented procedures, drawings, photographs, and work instructions. Because we manufacture a wide variety of products in relatively small quantities, you'll regularly switch between different assemblies rather than performing the same task every day. We've invested heavily in our documentation so employees can learn new work efficiently and produce consistent, high-quality results. You'll receive training and support from experienced team members while learning how to use our procedures and work instructions as your primary resource. Over time, you'll become more comfortable taking on new work with confidence, even when it's your first time building a particular product. If you enjoy learning new things, paying attention to detail, and working in an environment where no two weeks are exactly alike, you'll likely enjoy this role.

-Read and follow written procedures, drawings, and work instructions. -Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. -Comfortable learning new products and processes on a regular basis. -Willing to ask questions when something isn't clear. -Able to use documentation and available resources to complete unfamiliar tasks with increasing confidence over time. -Able to perform repetitive hand assembly and maintain consistent quality. -Soldering or electronics assembly experience is a plus but not required.
